Clerks 2! ...they still don't like you.

Personally, I don't know about you, but I'm pretty stoked about seeing Clerks 2! Even more now that its been moved up from August 18th to July 21st!
I like the fact that they were on a budget restraint of 5 Millions, which forces them to squeeze the most out of it, visually and script-wise. Also, even if I like them sometimes, Jay and Silent Bob have as much screen time as the first movie, which worked great because they come in small dosage. I'd like to add that Jeff Anderson's delivery have improved 100% since the first movie, it's quite noticeable in the Cartoon as well as in the released footage down there. "Terrorists? ....Argh. I left the coffee pot on again, didn't I?". Such an awesome voice.

I've packed together all the trailers released in theatres and on the internet since they give the tome for the movie and also, they kick a lot of behinds.

1st Internet Trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHkdj...rch=Clerks%202

2nd Internet Trailer (My favorite!!):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeAgP...rch=Clerks%202

Theatrical Trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVsjx...rch=Clerks%202

Cannes Trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhu_qDdGSNU

Enjoy! ...or die. Slowly. Of aging. ...maybe not.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

He's always dancing like crazy in front of stores or shops, just like in the first one.

I escpecially like the bit in the first Internet trailer where you see his silhouette and he's being shown dancing in slow-mo.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

No problem!

Now, spread the word my brother/sister! And fly!! ...or walk, whatever you can do the best.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

1- Smith 'sold out' when he received money when he sold CLERKS to Miramax.

2- CLERKS isn't about 'nothing', you missed the whole point, which wasn't that hard to find really. You're simply in for the dick 'n fart jokes.

Nice try though.

He did say that Jay and Bob would never come back but Jason Mewes, his best friend and the one playing Jay had been fighting a terrible drug addiction, mainly heroïn. He was a mess, his teeths had fallen, etc. When he was on the verge of succeeding his therapy to quit, Kevin told him that if he would quit completely, he would make another Jay and Silent Bob movie. He was thinking about doing a Clerks 2 for sometime now, because he had something to say and Clerks was the best vehicle for it.

As for Mallrats 2, it'd be rather unlikely, but if it were to come true, if done right, I wouldn't mind.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

It's an opinion matter but the quality of those sequels can't be denied.

Maybe if it were to pull a Sin City and have only certain elements in the film in color, unimportant stuff like store merchandise or whatever... just to fuck with the audience or something.
Well, Smith decided to do without because, well, it sucked. And he won't do it in B&W because A, he didn't want for the sequel to be the SAME, visually and B, it would cost a whole lot of money to have it transfered in B&W. This is the same reason, he wouldn't do a version, like Sin City, where certain aspects of the movie is in color because it was filmed in 36mm and like I said above, would cost way too much for a movie that had a 5 Million dollars budget. Sin City also was done cheaply but it was filmed in DIGITAL making all of the Post-Production tuning and effect way more easier and cheap.

No. What I meant to say with the 'WITHOUT' was about the previous title, Passion of the Clerks.

I know shooting in Black and White is cheaper, but I thought the previous member said something about the fact that it'd cool if there would be a version of the movie where it'd be in B&W and then some objects or parts of the Backgrounds would be in color. THAT would cost a bit more.

Well, based on the Theatrical Trailer, it seems the beginning of the movie will be in B&W and the fire that's burning in the QUICK STOP will be in color and then it'll cut to Color.

I just stumbled upon this brand-new RED BAND trailer for Clerks 2!

RED BAND means that it's rated NC-17 for 'bad words' that could corrode your soul!

Enjoy!

I was speaking idiomatically.
