If you would buy it, regardless of how you feel about it, then yes, it does justify their price point.

They're a business. As long as people will still buy the product, they will charge as much as they think they can get away with. Their objective is to make money, not make you feel good inside. As long as you keep throwing money at things you think are overpriced they're going to keep being priced that way.
