Unfortunately, one of my QAAMs malfunctioned and blew up before it detached from my plane, so I had to eject, and crash landed into a Wal*Mart. The fact that ACZ is basing itself on AC04 proves that 04 was a better game than 5. Too bad I was right all along.

Like AC04, ACZ will also be less character-oriented, meaning that your actions will actually feel important in the game.

The Excalibur laser and Knights of the Round airspace is also brilliant.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that no matter how good ACZ looks like it is shaping up to be, none of the missions will come close to Operation Bunker Shot.

It's an excellent time to get started with Ace Combat 5. Ace Combat Zero is practically right around the corner, so by the time you're done with AC5, you can go right into Zero.

And yes, AC04 is a better game, for a multitude of reasons. For me, it's because you fly alone, as a faceless hero. The wingmen addition in AC5 is nothing but a gimmick.
