This is how I do it:
1) Configure the bios to boot/load from the DVD/CD drive first. 2) Put your windows xp cd(only works with the full version) 3) go to format, and delete all your partitions. Then create new partitions (this should do a "fresh" format) 4) Format the partitions to NFTS..or whatever the windows format is called, then install windows. I'm sure people have better methods, but this is how I've been doing clean installs. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
