The greatest World Series in my lifetime would have to be the 1991 series between Atlanta and Minnesota. This seven game series featured three extra innings games, and five games decided by one run. Arguably the greatest Game 7 ever? Yeah, it's got that too. Smoltz shuts the Twins out for 9 innings, Jack Morris shuts the Braves out for 10. The series was decided in the bottom of the 10th inning of game 7. It's tough to get any more epic than this series. Jam it back in, in the dark. I didn't say I wouldn't go fishin' with the man.
All I'm sayin' is, if he comes near me, I'll put him in the wall. |
