Have you adjusted the permissions on that folder to specifically allow him to have read access to it?

Actually, wouldn't it be \\pcname
The fun thing do would would be to either tell him your admin password or temporarily set it to something else and tell him, then have him do \\pcname\c$ in windows explorer to get to the root of your c drive. It will prompt him to input username and password and have him type \\pcname\administrator as the username and then the password and it will give him access. If he can get to there using the admin account, then there is a problem with the share that you've setup. There's nowhere I can't reach. I didn't say I wouldn't go fishin' with the man.
