LOL, "A Forum with no boundaries". I think that name would imply really loose moderation. At least it would be less strict than this AC.net sounds. I was never a part of it.

I'm totally for starting a new AC forum.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Give this to them:
http://acecombatzeroaxeandhammer.ytmnd.com/

The text is just a bunch of b/s legal mumbo jumbo, presumable to protect Axe and Hammer from liability if Cipher is killed. So I guess A&H is the PCM that Cipher is contracted to. A&H must be either based in or closely aligned with Ustio. Was Pixie also a mercinary working for A&H, or was he an Ustio Airforce pilot like PJ?

And that list of Aces was incomplete. It helps a bit, but I'm still missing Aces not listed.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Well you may be right also. Axe & Hammer just sounds like a cool name for a PMC. Besides, does Precision Instrument Industry really sound like a company that just makes UI's for briefings? Maybe it's both, maybe it's a PMC that also has its own briefing UI. It's not really pertinent to the story, but it would've been nice for a little more detail.

I just found a nice Namco easter egg: You know that little bar underneath the aircraft name while selecting an aircraft in the hanger? The one that shows how much you use the aircraft (I think that's what it's for)? Well if you use one aircraft a bunch, eventually the symbols on the bar turn into little Pacmans and ghosts! Kinda cool. It happened for the Morgan for me, don't know if it works on other aircraft or not.

How ya doing, buddy?

MOBIUS doesn't appear in the gallery of downed aces. I was hoping for a bio of some sort.

That fight was intense. He took 4 burst missiles, that's almost as much as Pixie. I had to cross the return line once just to escape him (I always fight next to the return line on Gaunlet). One of these days I'm going to down him in his own F-22. Dear god that will be an undertaking!

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

I have questions for Pixie:

-Do you play the Ace Combat games? If so, how did you like Zero? If not, then why not?

-What else have you been in?

-Where did you film the scenes for Zero at?

-What did you think about your character trying to blow up the world?

-How did Namco go about finding people to act in Zero? Did they put up a big "Help Wanted" sign, or did they actively contact people they wanted?

-Would you return for another game if you were asked?

-Yo buddy, still alive?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Is it too soon to start hyping AC6? I was a tad disappointed that it wasn't announced at E3. I'll bet Bandai had something to do with it.

Anyway, it is clear that Ace Combat 6 will be the true successor to AC04. They've been dropping hints everywhere. You've got the post-Erusean conflict in AC5, Mobius 1 in Gauntlet, and even Pixy is now stationed in Usea.

It's go time. Or for the rest of you, pose time.
I agree with Megalith for once. There have been alot of AC04 allusions all over 5 and Zero. The main thing that seems to affirm the return of Mobius 1 in AC6 is AC5's Arcade mode. Upon beating it, Sky Eye says that he hopes Mobius 1 chooses to remain as an ISAF pilot...

I see AC6 as bridging the gap between AC04/5 and AC3. I see it set a bit more into the future, maybe 2020 0r 2025. We should see Grunder Industries change into General Resource LTD. and EASA change to Neucom. We should see the formation of UPEO and the balance of world power start to shift from governments and nations to corperations. AC6 should stretch a bit further into the future, introducing a few more futuristic jet fighters but still keeping the traditional ones. It shouldn't be too much like AC3 which was dominated by alien looking jet fighters, the core game should still revolve around the classics.

A couple things I would like to see in AC6:

-The option to vertically take-off and land the F-35 and the Harrier.

-The ability to control UAV's and UCAV's remotely, even if it's just for a single mission.

-A new super weapon that takes full advantage of PS3's power, maybe some sort of weather machine like a tornado generator. The weather effects should be extremely impressive.

-Actual people and cars rendered in city streets.

-Detailed buldings that at least get damaged by missiles/impact if they don't topple.

-An eject animation whenever you get shot down.

-Perhaps some sort of G-meter that causes pilots to black out when under too much stress. The screen could go black for a moment when you turn too hard. Maybe the you could build a resistence to black outs over time. Maybe this feature wouldn't be the greatest, but I'd like to see some innovative additions like this.

-The ability to perform the Cobra manuver in the Su-37.

-The return of the fuel gage from AC2.

-Online multi-player mode with several modes to choose from. There should be a MMO mode which involves a huge overall campaign being fought and won 24/7 by thousands of people. There should be "dogfight mode", "CTF", and "Co-op campaign" as well.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Serious question here:

Does anybody have the models of either the X-02 or the Falken? Does anybody know where I might be able to get one? I can't read any Japanese, so finding a Japanese site that sells the model is pretty useless for me. eBay had nothing. I need help here!

Spatula = new lord and savior.

$36 plus shipping? Ouch. I see that it comes molded in that color. I'd rather have black, but that color is nice too, plus there no chance of me fudging the paint job. I'm not too good with model building, but there's a model shop in town that may be able to help me build it. I wonder if the control surfaces on the nose can move freely or if they have to be glued in one position...

You never unlocked the X-02 Spatula? Just have an AC04 or AC5 save file on your memory card and start a new game in Zero. It's a sweet aircraft. It looks a bit more probable than the Falken, though the switch blade wings are a bit unrealistic. Is there a reliable site to purchase the X-02 Wyvern at? I'd like to have the Wyvern also, but I might have to buy 2 if it can only be assembled in one of its 2 modes (wings in with tail down or wings fully extended and tail up). That means saving up $$$ for it. Damn, come to think of it I might have to buy 2 Falkens also if you can only build it with concealed laser or open laser. I need to find someone that actually owns these!

EDIT: Damn, I see it's only 1/100 scale. I was looking for 1/48 scale or 1/72 scale at the least. $40+ for something that small?

I was speaking idiomatically.

Yeah, that's nice but I was never able to get into Macross and stuff like that for some reason (odd too since I love jet fighters and I love Transformers and I love giant robots. Well, not all giant robots, just the realistic ones. Maybe something about the unrealism or impracticality of transforming jets turned me off). I'd really like to have the X-02 and Falken in 1/48. How big is 1/100 anyway? Would that Falken even be more than 6 inches long?

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I can't find measurements for the Falken, but the X-02 is 21.84 meters long. That would be 8.5 inches in 1/100 scale. The Falken a bit longer than the X-02 if I'm not mistaken. 8.5 inches is pretty small. It's livable, but is it really $40+ livable? Damn, if only I got payed more.

That coin's bigger than a quarter right? I've decided that I'd buy even if it is small, its just too damn sexy plus I don't have any shelf space on my desk. But how do I found out how much shipping will cost at that 1999 site? I can't figure it out. If it's less than $10 then I'll buy it.

Drats. This is getting expensive. I have a VISA debit card, I don't know how it works with foreign currencies. Truth be told I've never actually purchased anything from the internet before. I'm considering the Hong Kong eBay one, that seems to be the cheapest if it's authentic. I don't know whether or not to trust it though:

That seems a bit suspicious to me, but the user has a ton of positive comments.

Perhaps the Grey men were manipulating both Osea and the Yukes into a cold war standoff (and not just the simple instigation of the war between them). Perhaps their influence was greater than it seems and they controlled a few components of each government to allow for "defense" spending. They seem to go to great measures to exact their revenge on the world.

Theory: I predict that in AC06 the Grey men will be alluded to again, and that perhaps they even had a hand in Grunder Industries growing in power (which eventually leads to the AC3 world of Corperate rule). A nightmarish distopian world where the arms industry orchestrates wars in order to grow richer is perhaps the best kind of revenge there could be.

Here's what I understand about the Grey men: They weren't formed until after AC Zero (or maybe even near the end of the Belkan war as several Belkan loyalists saw the writing on the wall) and are comprised of former Belkan loyalists that wanted revenge against the world/Osea for the loss of the great Belkan nation during the war. They proceeded to secretly orchestrate events over the decade and instigate a war with their various spies and agressor squadrons. They apparently also control Grunder Industries (seeing as how both the Yukes and the Oseans were using Grunder built aircraft) which makes them rich. Grunder Industries eventually becomes General Resource LTD. by AC3. Am i right about this so far?

Metal Gear: The Patriots

Is that Ace Combat or what? I hope they include a laser for the F-35 in AC6.
