I regularly work with people from Tokyo, so their 9AM starts at our 4PM PST. Which means when I'm working here out of California, I start getting calls from Tokyo everyday around 3PM~5PM, usually resulting in more work for me and not being able to go home at a decent hour. Once DST kicks in, it'll be 5PM and time for me to go home once the Tokyo people start arriving at their office at 9AM, so I have a better chance of dashing out of the office while it's still bright outside.
