is it hard? I wont be with the girl i love much longer, as i am going to college and we are separating. I can't imagine ever being able to love another person like i love her ever again...., and if possible, it seems like it would take sooo much.......is it an easy thing to fall in love again? is it possible? i hope so

My response based on the bolded part of your question: The probability of you meeting another person that strikes your heart is quite high. But only if you want it to let that happen. Which under certain circumstances can / cannot. It's up to you.
If you're mature enough to realize that a long-distance relationship would not work out between you two simply because you moving away / going to a different school, then I can only congratulate you for coming to reality with your situation. The next step is for you to realize that there's no harm in testing the waters. If in 4 to 5 years after dating a few girls and you have had no strong desire / feelings for any girl than the one you're currently dating / have feelings for, there's no harm in calling and saying "you know, I've dated a few girls in college but I still can't feel the same way about anyone the way I felt about you."
Of course if she's commited to a relationship I wouldn't recommend saying that, but if she's still available and willing to uphold a mutual relationship with you, I don't think I'd mind such a comment if I were in her shoes. If that trully was your honest feelings, I can only take it as a compliment. That's just me though.
But again, like I said in the beginning, since you're at the stage of life where you're just beginning to embark on college, the chances of you meeting another special someone are probably higher than you think. You've got at least 50+ years to find that out before you have to worry about dying, I wouldn't sweat it.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
