Ugh, I hate the stabbed man knife holder. NOT AN IMAGE I WANT IN MY KITCHEN WHERE I PREPARE MY FOOD, THX. /runsaway

You know, I am fairly pretty sure I'm in love with the microwave when it comes to the kitchen appliance. I am American, after all. Or the coffee maker. Can openers are my best friend when making spaghetti sauce or anything else that involves stewing (canned veggies/tomatoes and broth FTW).

How ya doing, buddy?

My recent purchase:

It's a yogurt maker.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

A yogurt maker? Isn't yogurt like half rotten milk or something? You can do that without a gadget
Yeah, my dad told me he used to make it in the kotatsu (japanese heater table w/ a blanket) when he was my age. This is just much more convensional.

Absolutely, my new favorite.

1 QT of store-bought plain low-fat yogurt = $3.49

1 QT of 2% fat milk = $1.19
Above turns in to 1QT of plain low-fat yogurt (for the same price <3) with in just the same amount of time it takes for me to do 2 loads of laundry and take a nap. No frequent stirring or checking (except when initially heating the milk) needed. <3

Can't beat that.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
