Meh, it's about time I updated this with my last few purchases (and freebees )

Got the following two games for free:

Both are great games, although it can be hard to select a menu/option in SCDS sometimes. The Transformers game was impressive, surprisingly. This is the first DS game I've played that had full voice acting, and it's even good voice acting. If you were disappointed that the Decepticons in the movie didn't have much screentime, then you need to get this game.

Got this game after:

Best game on the PSP by far (from what few games I've played -_-). I've already spent many hours on it ever since I got it on launch. Twas last copy too. Planning to play a lot of it for the next while.

Now for my most recent purchase:

Finally got the thing to play solo and/or with friends. It's great so far. Level 10 Ranger/Mesmer here with a level 9 wolf named Warfang. I'm not planning on getting any of the expansions yet although I want a crocodile pet and Nightfall has it. I hear there's a new one coming too. Dungeon crawling really isn't my thing though.

Not really looking to get anything else right now. My next purchase is going to be Sims 2: Bon Voyage in September and CONTRA IV in 'the fall.' Can't bloody wait for that.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Got some new games recently: Sims 2 Bon Voyage, Sam and Max Season 1 and Monster Hunter Freedom 2. I wouldn't have gotten Sam and Max if I had known Sims 2 was coming at the beginning of Sept though.

Sims 2 BV, from what little I played of it, is awesome so far. The beach locale is the best 'cause there's more stuff to do there. It has a giant pirate ship and a beach and saunas and whatever.

Sam and Max has new VAs and I prefer the older VAs, but I think I'll get used to these ones. It's great to play a new S&M game again. I hadn't even known the boxed set was out until I wandered into Ebay and saw a gazillion display copies. Despite all the display copies, they were SOLD OUT. Wow. So I went to BB and saw some there.

I got killed by a Tigarex in MHF2 :( The feline race creatures are kinda...cute, but also odd. Two stores were sold out and the last store I went to (A Future Shop) had only one copy left. I almost missed seeing it too. The load times aren't horrible as people say it is. Great way to exaggerate. Reminds me of the GBA FFVI world map fiasco that never was.

Digimon World Dawn is just around the corner, so I'll be snagging that on launch. it has online battles, so if you like Digimon, please get it!

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Got a budget game today, Patapon while I was in Wal-Mart.

It was pretty darn hard at first. I have no rhythmic skills whatsoever apparently. Took forever just to get past the first part. I restarted the game and got better though.

It's pretty cute.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Blazing Lazers for the Wii. I made it to the 4th level. Great game.

I got Godzilla Unleashed in the mail. It's hard to get used to the Wiimote + nunchuk setup. it's the only control option in the game, sadly.

Star Soldier (PSP) should be coming sometime this week. Can't wait.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Got my copy of Star Soldier yesterday. Played the hell out of it today. Won the game with 5 lives on Easy and unlocked the Boss Rush mode.

It's a bloody awesome game, one of the best PSP games I have in my collection.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Bought 2 copies of FFCC Ring of Fates today. It's fun so far. I'm at Mount Vaal right now.

Also bought Digimon World Dawn. I lost my previous copy so I got Rocky to send me an used copy, but the package never arrived so I bought it again. Ah well, the third time's the charm. I'm going to rebuild my Digimon team and beat down Chaotic's team.

Bought Harvest Moon DS Cute last night. I wanted to use my Wal-Mart gift certificate but the damn store didn't have any copies so I bought it at Microplay instead. I never knew it was a budget title though, so that was a nice bonus.

I named my character Wolf
I named my farm Katina
I named my dog Zack
I named my cat Raine

I dunno why I have to name the cat since it never does anything >_>

Think I'm gonna use my cert. on RE 4 now.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Picked up RE 4 for $4.85 and I'm having a fun time with it so far. I always go for head shots 'cause it's fun seeing their heads blow apart XD

Jam it back in, in the dark.

S
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates
If you don't have anyone to play this with locally, you might as well return it as multiplayer is where the game really shines, like the first game. The gameplay is pretty much similar to the original but with no chalice. Everyone seems to think of this as a plus, but I was the official chalice bearer in FFCC (I played and won the game with my sister) and I kinda miss carrying it around. Lilties now can do alchemy unlike the first game, and Clavats are the strongest race this time around.

As for my recent purchases, I haven't got any since my last post. I would have won Silent Hill 2 and 3 last night if I hadn't been outbid by a frickin' dollar.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Latest games I bought since my last post are:

Octomania: Summonmaster made me buy this quirky Japanese title. It's not a bad game, but I can't seem to play with anyone online.

Mario Party 8: Bought this from Summonmaster. It's great ^_^

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time: It has features that make it better than the first game, and I'm surprised how it's everything that the main RPG series is not: a better story, better characters, etc.

Pinball Hall of Fame The Williams Collection: The best video pinball game to date. I got the PSP version :3

SSX Blur: I originally got Obscure: Aftermath for PS2 but it kept freezing at the same spot, so I returned it to get SSX Blur. The controls take a bit to get used to, and I need another nunchuk to play with my sister.

Port Royale 2: A game that's similar to Sid Meier's Pirates!, but with more emphasis on trading. I haven't played it much yet.

Resident Evil: The remake for the GCN. Haven't played much of it either.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Bought Mario Kart Wii, Okami (Wii) and GW Nightfall on Tuesday. Only played Nightfall so far. It's looking good.

Gonna try out the Wii games this weekend :3

Whoo hoo! Finally got to pick up Mana Khemia today.
Good for you, 'cause I have yet to see it anywhere in town. My sister wants this game and I've never heard of it

@Infernal, Is that Maverick X I see? I want that

I finally got SimCity 4. I was waiting for it to go down in price, and I snatched it up today at Wal-Mart. I got the Deluxe edition with the Rush Hour expansion. I can't believe I used to hate this game.

Now if only there was a mod for Asian buildings. What I loved about SC3K was the inclusion of an Asian tileset.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I went to the mall after work today to look for the Spore CC and Etrian Odyessy 2 and found zilch. I figured Spore wouldn't be out yet, but EO 2 was sold out at EB :( :( I was pretty disappointed, but I was pleased when I got home.

Secret Squirrel's package for me arrived today. He bought a copy of Brave Story: New Traveller (PSP) for me at the GameStop sale for half the price it usually costs. At least I got one new game to play.

Ah I guess it's time for another update. Finally got Etrian Odyessy 2 and am currently on the 12th floor. I hate dungeon crawlers but this one is awesome. It's because I can draw my own map right in the game. I love that feature.

Also got Lego Indy for the Wii. The 2 player mode is quite fun although we die a lot, she more than me. I end up getting all the money 'cause she'd just end up losing them all from dying all the time.

Oh, and I have the Spore CC, although that really isn't a game.

How ya doing, buddy?

I picked up Soldier Collection and Parodius Portable in Japan, both for the PSP. Great stuff, although I tend to suck in Parodius. Gonna pick up L4D this weekend or something.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I ordered Dissidia from Play-Asia on the 17th, and Castlevania OoE on the 26th at Best Buy's website and lo and behold, Dissidia arrived today which is pretty darn quick considering I bought it right before the holidays and all. I'm letting my sister play it now.

I got OoE with the BB gift card I won at work. I've always wanted to get it but didn't have any money to get it. Thank god for the gift card. Expected delivery date is tomorrow apparently.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I went to an Asian mall today and found this little video gaming store selling stuff on clearance. They had a PC port of G-Darius for 4 bucks. Being a fan of the genre I grabbed it and found out it's only 2 bucks. Sweet. I dunno if it was actually 2 bucks or if the employee was just a nice guy.

At any rate, the bosses are downright huge and takes a bit of time to take them down. Is there any robotic sharks in the game?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

It's about time for an update. Not going to mention every single game I've purchased since my last update though, just the recent ones.

Resident Evil 2: (PSN) Thought I should finally get around and play it. I've already popped it onto my PSP to play with on the plane next week. Controls are whacked but I'm getting used to it.

Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles: Bought this for my Christmas present this year. It's much better than UC.

Wipeout Pure: Got this on a whim for a whopping $10 price tag. Great game.

Civilization Revolution: (PS3) Got it used at EB. Nice cheap price. Great game too.
