You're probably judging the series from the PSP ports by Bandai. The Legend of Heroes games are great because of the storytelling. And of course when the only localized versions have bastardized translations the greatest aspect of the game is completely lost. Though from what I've heard VI not only has the same quality story you'd expect from a LoH game, but the whole game itself is quality work. I still wouldn't play unless I could understand the story.
I can't really think of many jrpgs on the PC. The games created by Falcom never get released here. I do know Capcom did a Breath of fire IV port to the PC. That's worth checking out I guess. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
