Exercise Software
This is sort of a new one, and I hope it's in the right forum...
I work out. Sort of. Probably lift about twice a week, heavily working different muscle groups on different days during the week. I know - I should do it more often, and I plan to! Summer is here, and since I'm not worrying about school, I want to get more active in addition to lifting, like jogging, biking, swimming, sports, whatever.
One thing that I would really like to keep track of is my performance over a long period of time. I've heard some people talk about computer programs that can keep track of everything you have done and could possibly do in a workout, and are equipped with all sorts of neat little features - stuff like a graph showing how much weight you've increased on the bench over the last 3 months, showing average distance ran, whatever, etc.
I am just wondering if anybody has ever used a piece of software like this before, and if it has been worth it. Obviously this software is not necessary for me to exercise, but I thought it might be both fun and a motivational tool for me at the same time, and would be of pretty great benefit. Anyways, what software do you recommend?
Jam it back in, in the dark.
