...Who cares? Not to be inflammatory but anyone who judges someone unfavorably based upon playlist (unless you are listening to Cannibal Corpse...and even then a stretch) is not a very cool person. I listen to a lot of VGM and I can't expect for anyone outside of that medium to really understand what VGM is without sharing some silly and often false generalizations. I can do my best to explain to them that VGM is far from 'bleeps and bloops' but they probably simply don't want to hear it.
If someone asks, I'll tell them I am listening to Megaman 2, and if they don't like it, I'll inform them to eat my ass with a spoon. Jam it back in, in the dark.
