Oh please. This was all because of the bad publicity surrounding Paris Hilton very public breakdown. The Hilton family are socialites, therefore they need to be well thought of. This latest example shows that they are trying to get back into the good graces of the American public rallying with popular opinion, which has ALWAYS been correct regarding Paris Hilton. I mean, I must agree that this is GREAT NEWS!, but by God, its pathetic. They must have been out of their minds to think that Paris Hilton would ever be capable of earning 60 million dollars. She's not exactly industrious. I find it both funny and sad that the Hiltons are making an example of their daughter to try to save their own soiled reputation. You know for a bunch of wasps, those Hiltons sure are classy.

I mean, Paris has been to jail MANY times. And yet, only now, after the embarrassing anguish of breaking down in public and going on trial for being a dipshit, do her parents decide that she hasn't earned 60 million dollars. Yea. Its not like she was actually earning that money going around to shopping malls, eating food and trying to look important.

Evenso, $60 million dollars is probably only a microscopic percentage of what she will eventually get in the will. She was always a tard.

Yea, but I think there is a reason for that. Envy. I think our society teaches us to be conscious of what we don't have. That is capitalism for you. Everyone wants to be the Hiltons. Everyone wants to parade around in expensive sports cars, have a summer home in venice and a winter home in the alps and everyone wants to feel important and well regarded. Unfortunately, they can't have it.

What's the next best thing? Watching rich people closely until they slip up, and then laugh uncontrollably at their expense. It makes some realize that it doesn't matter how much money you have or how many cars and homes you have in exotic countries. If you fall, then you fall and we are all bound by the same chain. I think there is some gravity behind that. Seeing others fall makes some feel better about themselves. Well thats my take on it anyway.
