Although I'm lolling, I doubt she's using her inheiritance for her extravagant lifestyle. Her folks or perhaps a trust fund her grandpa can't touch probably foots the bill.

This is great news, and I agree that the grandfather is an awesome man. Sucks how the Hilton name has been tainted and blemished so severely...a shame in the sense that I feel sorry for this man. Paris Hilton...lol @ extravagance biting her on the ass. (I don't even find her attractive...like, wtf, she's hideous)

She can't sing either. I don't get why people even like the song she released...

It's all digitized, which explains why she would never be able to sing live either. Not like I would want her too anyway.

I think she has enough money to not need the inheritance. I'm waiting for her to start an online blog saying she needs all the "support" she needs to continue "living".

Oh please. This was all because of the bad publicity surrounding Paris Hilton very public breakdown. The Hilton family are socialites, therefore they need to be well thought of. This latest example shows that they are trying to get back into the good graces of the American public rallying with popular opinion, which has ALWAYS been correct regarding Paris Hilton. I mean, I must agree that this is GREAT NEWS!, but by God, its pathetic. They must have been out of their minds to think that Paris Hilton would ever be capable of earning 60 million dollars. She's not exactly industrious. I find it both funny and sad that the Hiltons are making an example of their daughter to try to save their own soiled reputation. You know for a bunch of wasps, those Hiltons sure are classy.

I mean, Paris has been to jail MANY times. And yet, only now, after the embarrassing anguish of breaking down in public and going on trial for being a dipshit, do her parents decide that she hasn't earned 60 million dollars. Yea. Its not like she was actually earning that money going around to shopping malls, eating food and trying to look important.

Evenso, $60 million dollars is probably only a microscopic percentage of what she will eventually get in the will. She was always a tard.

Yea, but I think there is a reason for that. Envy. I think our society teaches us to be conscious of what we don't have. That is capitalism for you. Everyone wants to be the Hiltons. Everyone wants to parade around in expensive sports cars, have a summer home in venice and a winter home in the alps and everyone wants to feel important and well regarded. Unfortunately, they can't have it.

What's the next best thing? Watching rich people closely until they slip up, and then laugh uncontrollably at their expense. It makes some realize that it doesn't matter how much money you have or how many cars and homes you have in exotic countries. If you fall, then you fall and we are all bound by the same chain. I think there is some gravity behind that. Seeing others fall makes some feel better about themselves. Well thats my take on it anyway. :p

Indeed, it seems people love nothing more than to watch those more fortunate than themselves fall down. It gives people resolve to know that they have their faults too. Same stuff that would happen in high school with one of kids who had a car to drive to school. People would point out any faults *real or made up*, just to bring that person down to their level.

Edit: Shame to hear about the change of wind direction. At least the picture is not very flattering.

I don't care if it's baloney, I want to believe there's some GOOD left in this world.

On the other hand, though, I've just gotten SUXXX0RZED, and I don't like that. :( So from this day on, I'll refuse to acknowledge her existence.
