Life is about adaption, and learning to accept things you can't change. While it's okay to have standards, I think that it's silly to uphold some for things as silly as "the girl I'll marry will look exactly like this..." I mean, what's really important? How old are you? I'd like to think, that after some (more) experience, your thoughts will change.
As for myself, I have plenty of ideals, but it seems that the people I actually get caught up with don't quite fit them. I'd bet if you asked a person who's been happily married for ten or twenty years how their partner fit their image of a "perfect mate," you'll find that it's really not that simple. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
