[PS2] Final Fantasy XII

Metal Sphere---- is there a way to make Vagrant Soul respawn again???? My error was I beat him and left and tried to come back again and Lixillod on B2F wasn't there. So I went back to the B3F to fight maybe Vagrant Soul and the room is empty. I guess if it cannot respwn I am SOL. If thats the case than its messed up because I beat havcilek(9999) in Necrohol and everytime I go back to that place, he always shows up again and he is a rare.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Is there any other way to get "SOUL POWDER" instead of stealing it from Etem in the henne Mines?

By the way, anybody know where this tent is in Mt. Bur Ominisce (Sp)?

"Need more gil? Its pretty easy. Firstly, you should haev an excess of
Francisca Axes from chaining those Cerberus. I had 9, and sold them for
a ton of gil. Sell those. Then, sell all armor and weapons you dont want.
Then, sell all loot you dont want. Sell all Gems and anything else you
have more than, say, 3 of. Some of the Fleshes and Pelts will rake in the
big bucks, and you should have plenty of cash in no time. Personally, I
bought all Tournesol components and the thing itself with loot. However, if
still you need more, take on the Rank VII Behemoth King hunt. Kill him.
Then, go to Mt Bur Omisace, and keep going North till a tent pops up. Unequip
Vaan's weapon and touch it for 500,000 Gil. That should help.

There is actually a trick that will keep the blizzard flowing through out.

First teleport to Mt. Bur Ominisce (Sp). When you enter Paramina Rift, make sure its a Blizzard. Make a right and head straight to the next section. It should still be a blizzard. Next go straight down to the next section. When you get to this section, click the map and you will see 2 entrence was to the next section. Take the very bottom one. Then take the last exit to where you got to go to fight Fafnir.

Found this trick on a webiste to keep it a Blizzard.

METAL SPHERE----Because, most people don't know that you can keep the blizzard flowing. I read on some webiste that the blizzard follows a path. Why wast your time constantly going back and forth, back and forth, enter and re-enter waiting for it to blizzard, when the steps I provided takes less than a minute to do.

Beside when you enter Paramina Rift from Mt. Bur Ominisc (Sp), it starts the blizzard anyways.

SCRATCH AND SNIFF----theres a rock where Fafnir can not reach you. So if you have any long rang weapons, it should be a piece of cake for you. I did the long and hard way and kept attacking him with swords but he is tough.

Well that is what I read, and i didn't know until I read it. After I read it, I was fighting Fafnir in no-time.

Hey, I wish there was another way to get the genji gloves. I only have the shield. I figured out the Genji after the 1st time I faught him....Wish you can create it in the bazaar.

goodluck....I faught that bomb 4 times and no blades I kept going 2 areas away and then back again and kept on getting the Aeorinte but no bomb. Very frustrating.

You got to zone 2 area away. When you first enter the Lache Span, that is the side he will be on. But what you can do is on the opposite side when you fight the Abysteel, you can ride the Site 11 cart back 2 Site 9 and so on and that counts as 2 areas. That is what I did.

hey Lazlow, is that in the Pharos?? If so, take the elevator to B1F. If you do not see NO monster, run around the circle. He'll come incontact with you. But the only way hell show is if B1F has no Monsters. If you see monsters, get back on the elevator and go up. Then come back down again to B1F and check to see if their is No monster.

I am getting totally frustrated with Bombshell. I must've have killed 15-20 of them things and NO Yagyu Darkblades. WTF do I got to do just to get a dang sword. I either get Nothing ....Arcana ....or Pile of Bomb Ashes .....

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Its weird. When you think they aint going to show up...BAAM, they show up. Thats what happened when I first encountered LV99 Red Chocobo. I was like, maybe it is just a rumor until I actually encountered one and got my butt handed to me by a bird.....That is just low. Getting creamed by a bird.

Hey Lionming-Cyan FF XIII should be coming out real soon for the PS3. I am jacked and ready to go for that. Didn't really like Suikodin that much. I am to much into FF games.

Thats to my friend who got me hooked into RPG games. At first I thought they were boring and dumb. Well, I am off to going to the Henne Mines to face Zodiarc. I am aroung LV 82 for Bache, Vaan and Belthier. But first, I am going to find Etem to get my soul powder.

Ohh and finally got that dang blade from Bombshell. 18Chains to get it. Now if I can only find a ribbon.

What I do is Alternate. When I use 2 of my strong guys to atk and 1 to heal, once in a blue moon have the healer atk. But Once his MP goes down. I switch. Ill let my healer atk, so his MP goes back up and use one of my other characters to heal. Thats what I do and it works for me.

I just faught the Zodiarc and dude is way too easy, but I did lose. I had him almost dead, then he used that dark magic thing. What I am pissed about, everyone of my party Vaan, Bashe and Beltheir was full 9,999 with bubble. When he used it with a small amount of bar, it killed me. I was kicking its butt.

I have a question though, do I need to eqip some kind of armor that negates or limits Dark element to protect me from his dark magic?

Darkja, random instant death effect (like Yiazmat's physical attacks towards the end). It can, and will, wipe your active party if you're unlucky.



Black Masks (Balfonheim) or Demon Shields (Necrohol) absorb dark magic, so the only thing you have to worry about is the random death effect. Oh, and he also has a holy based attack called Banishing Ray, so have white masks ready for that.

Metal Sphere----this happened when I would fight Fafnir, Chaos, Behemoth King and Hell Wyrm straight up. Thats why I used that technique.

Darkja is weird. Sometimes I would be dead. Sometimes I would be healed. I thought you had to be either close to him or far from him to be unaffected by that Darkja. Boy, I was wrong. Just finally got the Turnesol. Now I am working on Scorpion Tail.

I went through the whole entire Henne Mines and No Ribbon. . So I went back the way I came in. Got a set of Lords of Robes though

Not sure if this is bogus about the Zodiac Spear, but I found this little info:

ZODIAC SPEAR #2

"This one is harder to get! It is in the Henne Mines in the 2nd phase dig area, before you fight the Zodiark Esper. Thus to get this Zodiac Spear, you must have obtained at least 10 Espers (the requirement of obtaining Zodiark), or the area will not be opened.

The Zodiac Spear will then be in a chest in which spawns in the 2nd phase area. However, the chest only has small chance of appearing. And smaller chance of containing the Zodiac Spear.

To obtain this Zodiac Spear, you MUST have the Diamond Gauntlets equipped before opening the chest. It will NOT appear in the chest at all, without them equipped. If not equipped, you will only find gil."

LAZLOW.....When you enter Necrohol from Salikwood, you iff you look on your map in Necrohol, you will see 2 long straight hall ways. One on the left and one on the right. Its the one on the left. You will see a small hole connected to it. When you enter that, you will see another hall way wahere you can enter. Enter that. If you look on the Map, you will see where you are, but not a place on the map. In one of the corners, you will see a question mark pop up. That is the secrete Shop merchant to buy Scathe.

You can also buy Maximmilion, Mega Power Shiask, ether, opal ring and Telekenesis

Still trying to get a dang ribbon from Cerobi Steppe. I am in the crossfield. Every Chest I open there is like over 2500 gil. I would then save at the Blue Save Crystal and then cancel the game and reload it and the chest would respawn. I found another formalhaunt doing this. So that makes 2. One from Lhushe Mines and the other frome Cerobi.

Metal Sphere or Soldier_2825---To get the Wyrm Bone it says to either steal or drop from Skulwyrm. I was able tp get 3 Battlewyrm Carapiece from it. Is that the same thing?

What is weird is that to get the Artemis Arrows, you need 2 Dorsal Fin, 3 Gemini Gems and 2 Vampr fangs. Well I had 1 Dorsal Fin and 2 Vampyr Fangs and 0 Gemini Gems and still made the Artemis Arrows. Whats up with that? Is there some items we do not need and it will still create the item?

Nah not a Bazaar....I got 2 of those. Its just like what you have to do to that Bomb in the Lushu Mines to get Darkblade. I got to from Skullwyrm, where you have to get the wyrm bone to make Scorpion Tail (AXE).

Ohh by the way, I am back at the Cerobbi Steppe. I am opening the 3 Chest (w/ Diamond Amulet) behind the rocks, Saving my game, then quitting my game, then restarting. The chest respawn, but NO RIBBON yet. This time around was able to get Castellanos.

OK...I am . I just finally found a ribbon , but when I equipped it and equipped the Ensaguined Shield (90 Magic Evade), it still puts on the Sap, Poison, etc.....What gives? Thought Ribbon was supposed to make you immune??

Andrew---doesn't matter to me. FF is top notch. First RPG I played was Wild Arms. One thing I don't like is you have one opportunity to get this. examples Genji Gloves. You have to steal it the first time you fight Gilgamesh inorder to increase your combos with it. If you don't steal it, your SOL. Thats sucks. Storyline could be better though.

Can;t wait till FF XIII. Got my PS3 and waiting for the game. Next Month (March), my first game for PS3----> Heavenly Sword (called the Goddess of War)

Well right now, I am leveling up my other character to fight Zordiac. I think that was my problem. My 3 main characters are 3 LV away from 90, the other LV13-17. Everytime I switch and try PD, Zordiac is too quick when he gets down to very low power and kills me with 1 hit. Now the other party is at LV35. Probably going to wait till they LV 40 to go back.

Man....Zodiark is one tough SOB. I cannot beat this Esper. Everytime I get him down to very low HP where he is immune to Physical Attacks, my brain goes haywaire. Why. Well, his immune to magic flickers on and off. Whenever I use Bio, for some reason reflects back to me but the strange thing is, it will say "No Longer immune to magic." Some times I get a hit, sometimes I don't.

How the heck do you beat this MFer? I tried Scathe, but dude is immune to it.

What I hate is that everytime I chose a magic and Zordiac is no longer immune, it switches to "immune to magic" and its a waste of Magic and MP.

SAGA----the 3 guys are LV87 and the 3 girls are LV37. also that instant Death (Darkja) kick my butt. Once in a while, I'll get healed. Yes, I have 4 blask mask, and 4 Demion shield. One character, I had both Demon Shield and Black Mask on thinking it would give me a better chance but my characters keeps dieing because of (Darkja).

Soldier----Good Luck man when you fight him. You can do physical attack at the beginning. But when his HP are really low, you will see immune to magic and physical attacks as well as him using scathe. His real quick when his HP are very low with immune that switches constantly.

PICCALO-----then he probably had reflect on that backfired on me and killed me. Is there a place where you can buy those Scath Mote?

Well, Only thing I have is Knot of Rust....but I finally beat that SOB this morning about 9:00 am. G-D was he hard. To be honest, what makes him hard is that Darkja and his immune.

What I did was enter his arena with 1 charcater "Vaan." and kept attacking and healing till he begins to use immune, then bring out the other 2 guys. Use 1 to cast Disalaga (Sp) and right when the bar would hit and allow that guy to cast his spell, have the other 2 guys cast Bio. But this only works when he is no longer immune to magic.

Piccaolo ...just kidding. Piccolo, is the best way to defeat Yiazmat the "Reverse-Decoy" Technique?
