I'm not much of a fan of Michael Jai White but this actually looks like a genuinely faithful take of good ol' BLAXPLOITATION flicks from the late 60's and pretty much through the 70's. The red band trailer is off the hook!

I actually don't really like the cat as of now. The first movie I saw him in was Spawn and, seeing as how that's my favorite comic, I held that up to extreme standards and it turned out to be a subpar movie at best. Then I saw him in a very minor role in Dark Knight and then he's in this?

I WANT this to be a fly movie, I really do. If he turns out to be a great star because of this, goddamnit, it will fucking rock. From the trailer alone it looks like he might actually prove to be a damn good actor. JIVE MOTHAFUCKA!
