I'm not much of a fan of Michael Jai White but this actually looks like a genuinely faithful take of good ol' BLAXPLOITATION flicks from the late 60's and pretty much through the 70's. The red band trailer is off the hook!

Upon watching the trailer, I swear I'm going to have to see this. I might be the whitest honkey in the crowd, but I know I'll be hollarin' just as loud.

My roommate went to Sundance and saw this. Said it was an absolute BLAST. Also said it got picked up for distribution, so look for it in August.

Based on what he told me, this sounds like it could be one of this year's funnier films.

Is this movie suppose to be badass or very funny? Either way, that trailer had me on "wtf" enough to get me intrigued

Michael Jai White deserves some recognition, if you ask me. I will definitely be seeing this. Looks like a riot.

I am not one for these kinds of movies, but I just DIED watching the trailers.

Someone linked the trailer to this a while back in chat, and god damn does this look hilarious. I heard it got picked up after Sundance, which is great news, though no idea if it'll hit over here in the UK (unlikely). At some point I'll try to check it out though.

I actually don't really like the cat as of now. The first movie I saw him in was Spawn and, seeing as how that's my favorite comic, I held that up to extreme standards and it turned out to be a subpar movie at best. Then I saw him in a very minor role in Dark Knight and then he's in this?

I WANT this to be a fly movie, I really do. If he turns out to be a great star because of this, goddamnit, it will fucking rock. From the trailer alone it looks like he might actually prove to be a damn good actor. JIVE MOTHAFUCKA!

Picked this up on DVD tonight. $15 at wal-mart. Had no idea it was out, just hoping it will be as fun as the trailer looked. Anyone else see this yet?

It's entertaining, it is what it's supposed to be, Stupid and fun.
If you do drugs, do some before you watch it. Oh and if you are black you'll like it even more I guess....
