your Network Adaptor is integrated?if that I think it is damaged.

put plug and try to change place also for USB and still no connection (still show Red X over the icon),I think is damaged or

There's nowhere I can't reach.

yea,try to use network USB on other PC if working will be your ports USB not recognize your network USB,if doesn't work will be damage.
