Sounds like a good movie. It's supposed to be an uplifting view of how, under pressure, people can band together to fight a common enemy. I don't see how this is exploitation in the least, especially when many actual family members of the victims supported the movie (and some are even in the movie).

What are you talking about, movies are made about topical issues all the time.

American Dreamz, Primary Colors, Farenheit 9/11, etc...

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Can anyone tell me if it IS in fact a bunch of interviews sparsed with some recreations of the plane crash and bonding people? I am all for people bonding in unity to come against a united cause, but unless its actually going to be about THAT, I don't really feel like paying $10 to go see a bunch of interviews with the families of the people on the plane.

May as well make a movie about every person who lost a soldier, someone in the towers, someone in the Pentagon, someone who died in the Vietnam War, et cetera.
What?

It's not that at all, it's essentially a real-time recreation of the events.

I'd imagine that "Flight" 93, the TV documentary was more along those lines. No, "United 93" is a straight forward actual movie. What I meant about "some of the victims' families being in the movie" is that they put them in the movie somehow (I'm assuming either extras or playing the people who answered the calls from their loved ones).

How ya doing, buddy?
