And an interview with Hiroaki Yura to go along with the announcement:
Echoes of War Arrange Album Tracklist and Interview More to come soon! Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Yeah, it's discussed in the interview. It's an original composition inspired by the music from Diablo. I think the main melody line is referenced, but yeah, very loose arrangement if you'd want to call it that.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
You were looking for a review, and Patrick has finally posted his impressions of the legendary edition of Echoes of War:
Easily the Best of East and West With Echoes of War: The Music of Blizzard Entertainment (Review) I've heard the album as well, but since I contributed to the project and may be biased, I'll just say that I love Go Shiina's arrangement of the Zerg music and Kow Otani's reimagination of the music from Diablo in particular. The DVD is fun to watch, and the booklet provides a wealth of information about the composers and recording process. So, that's all I'll say! This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
