I actually have to keep a writer's journal by my bedside, because my spot happens to be my bed, as I'm falling asleep (or even in my sleep). I'll be thinking about... whatever... and I'll either think up a line that I like, or an idea for a story, or something... and I'll have to jot it down.
I've heard lots of people do their best thinking in the shower... I must be the opposite, because my brain shuts down when I'm in the shower. I'm just like 'ohhh, hot water' *relaxes*. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
