To remember 'horizontal' I always think about the 'horizon'... its side to side as opposed to up and down.
As for perpendicular, its just two lines interesecting each other... I believe it has to be at a 90 degree angle. Perpendicular, you need two lines. Horizontal is just one. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
