I'm not a Valentine's Day fanatic, but I enjoy the day, whether I'm with someone or not. I just gave these bags of candy to a bunch of my friends, and they appreciate it. It's definitely gone over the top in the past few years with all those crazy singing toys and huge cards and such.
I also think, as silly as this sounds, that for couples who are still in the beginning stages, its an opportunity for them to go all out and show what they're feeling, without worrying that their partner is going to freak out. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
