I don't know how to replace a backlight myself; I have never done it before. There are guides on various sites which provide directions for doing such. This guide seems to come up most frequently when searching. I can not, however, vouch for its credibility.
If you do not feel comfortable replacing the backlight, the occasional hardware repair store can do them for you. (I have only ever been in two that offer to do this, unfortunately.) Jam it back in, in the dark. |
