MicroSD (sdhc compatible) to Memory Stick Pro Duo adapter?

I've been reading mixed reviews on these, mostly positive ratings, but I wanted to see if anyone here has had experience with these. I have a phat PSP-1000 and I'm looking to upgrade my memory stick to 16GB so I can fit more stuff on it.

Now the 16GB Memory Stick Pro Duo is around 60 bucks, but I've also looked into getting a MicroSDHC to MS Pro Duo adapter and noticed that the good ones have dual microsdhc support. The adapter I'm looking at is around 5-10 bucks, and a 16gb microsdhc is around 45 bucks so it's around a 5 dollar difference. Also with the adapter, I could have the option to spend another 45 bucks down the road for another 16gb stick and upgrade it to 32gb. Currently a 32gb pro duo is around 200 bucks, so I'd be saving money there.

I'm looking at going down the adapter + microsdhc route, but has anyone here done this and were there any problems? How well does it work?
