The rumor was that the next Kingdom Hearts would either be on PS3 or Wii. Why am I not surprised it's on the PS3? However the title Kingdom Hearts 0 looks really interesting, I'm guessing that's the game dealing with the secret movie from KH2:FM. As for Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories 2...assuming from the title it's probably going to be another card-based game, I was hoping they were done with those. The other thing that really surprises me is it took them 5 years to release three Kingdom Hearts games (KH1, KH:CoM, and KH2) and now they're announcing three all new ones at the same time (doesn't mean they're gonna be released all at the same time). In any case maybe these new games will clear up some mysteries.

KH2 Final Mix Plus included battles with other members of Organization XIII that weren't originally in the game, plus rematches with all 13 members in an extra level in which even if you were level 99, you'd still get your ass kicked. Also, there was another special boss fight and the boss is involved in the psp game coming out. What was so "Plus" about the game? It also had Kingdom Hearts Re: CoM, a complete remake of the GBA game with voice acting and cutscenes, but only in the Japanese language. To this day, I still have no idea why they didn't release it overseas. Also, both Final Mix games had extra enemies and extra weapons and items to collect. As far as the other two future games go (not counting the cell phone games), I'll end up playing them since I'm hooked on the story but as far as release dates go we probably won't hear that until E3 or TGS. How ya doing, buddy? |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I wasn't too fond of that Fate of the Unknown remix I heard at first, but it's starting to grow on me. That trailer has gotten me really interested in the game, especially at 3:50 - 4:02. One thing that has me scratching my head is what is up with that board game in the trailer?
358/2 is also pretty good. It's the DS's Crisis Core. I'm still trying to get through it, because I picked Proud Mode first. If there's one thing I've noticed with the Kingdom Hearts games, it's that if there's a secret trailer or ending then you'll have an easier time fulfilling the requirements on the hardest difficulty. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I have to agree that 358/2 is the weakest of the series. While I wasn't fond of the card system for Chain of Memories, at least when you go to a world in that game you're done with it afterward. I'm not crazy about the whole mission-style of the game where you keep going to the same place several times...which was one of the things I wasn't fond of in Crisis Core, even though the side-missions in that game were optional but it was the only way you could get good items and level up if you were having trouble against a boss. I can't tell you how much I disliked going back to Agrabah and Wonderland multiple times. It was nice to see those worlds at first, but once you start re-visiting them they lose their charm.
358/2 had good parts off and on, but if you stick with it long enough, about 3/4ths of the game is when it starts to really get good and doesn't stop until you beat the game. The last boss music is an awesome remix. Most amazing jew boots |
As with any KH game after the first one, most of the game's music comes from its predecessors, just redone or remixed. There isn't that much new music, but I'm alright with that. It's pretty much hit or miss with me.

"A journey where you never know who you will run into next." What did you expect when the main character interacts with a bunch of Disney worlds and some Final Fantasy characters scattered amongst those worlds?
Surprisingly, the combination worked. FELIPE NO |
The story has always centered around Sora, Donald, and Goofy going around and searching what they're looking for.
I feel fighting the Organization made for some of the best boss battles in the series. I realize the sequels centered around Sora and company more, but you're still going around interacting with various Disney worlds. They're not going to break away from that. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
