Hey! Prediction time!

Rey Mysterio vs. Kane - If Mysterio loses, he must unmask. We've already seen this happen in WCW, so why the hell do we need to see it again? Kane will just get angry during the match because of Rey's persistence and start using a chair on him.

Winner: Rey Mysterio by DQ

Women's Championship Match Beth Phoenix vs. Candice Michelle

Well it seems Candice finally made it back this time without getting injured again. However, I don't think she should return with the gold just yet.

Winner: Beth Phoenix by pinfall

Big Show vs. Undertaker

I really need to start following Smackdown since some of my favorite superstars are on there. Um...yeah, no way Taker is gonna lose here.

Winner: Undertaker by submission

#1 Contender's Match Batista vs. JBL

Well this one has been building up for quite some time, but I don't think there's any way that JBL will win here. If he did, that would definitely show that Jericho wouldn't face him.

Winner: Batista by pinfall

ECW Championship Match Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry

I don't follow ECW, but I expect Mark Henry to destroy Hardy here.

Winner and new champion: Mark Henry by pinfall

WWE Championship Match Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy

The last match I saw between these two was just so damn good. However, with the way Smackdown has been going on lately...that damn Russian guy will interfere and attack both combatants, thus resulting in a no contest.

Winner: Double DQ

World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels

This is without a doubt the match of the year. I think it's obvious that Cade will cause some interference. A code breaker isn't going to end this, nor is sweet chin music.

Winner and new champion: Shawn Michaels

Speaking of really good matches, I went back at watched Shane McMahon vs. Kurt Angle in a Street Fight from King of the Ring 2001. That was a really nasty fall Shane took when Angle suplexed him at the glass, but it didn't break and Shane landed right on his head. Just the sound the impact made...damn.

Going back over the posts about the debate about Jericho's attitude, I figured I'd put my two cents in.

Jericho is selling it very well, but there was one time where I almost laughed. It was about a week or two after he hit HBK's wife and HBK was talking to him on the Titantron...the look on Jericho's face was like a kid pouting. XD

I'm not too thrilled about Y2J being all serious, but I really can't bring myself to completely dislike it either. He's got me hating him as much as JBL. It's too bad though, because almost a year ago when he made his return he was doing stuff like in the clip below would rival DX's antics.

So he coined the phrase Sports Entertainment for the Attitude Era, now he's completely dropping that. I guess we really are going back to supposed to be thinking wrestling is real.
But when I was a kid and thought it was real, wrestling was awesome!!

Also I just went to wwe.com and saw the main event for Smack Down tonight. Honestly, I don't think I can miss this one.

I know that's going to be the outcome.

Spoiler:
Or Big Show and that big Russian guy demolish HHH and Taker at the same time.

Also, did anyone notice what happened to Santino on Raw? I think a part of that guitar he broke cut him in the mouth or something, but damn he got cut good.

It's prediction time again!

WWE Diva Halloween Costume Contest - Women's Champion Beth Phoenix, Divas Champion Michelle McCool, Brie Bella, Candice Michelle, Eve, Jillian, Katie Lea Burchill, Kelly Kelly, Layla, Lena Yada, Maria, Maryse, Natalya, Tiffany, Victoria and Mickie James.

Um...not much to say here and not much to judge on so I'll just make a prediction and move on.

Winner: Candice Michelle.

Pick the Tag Team Match - World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase vs. CM Punk & Kofi Kingston / John Morrison & The Miz vs. Cryme Tyme / Jamie Noble & Mickie James vs. William Regal & Layla

Well obviously we want to see a title match happen, so it'll be Rhodes and DiBiase vs. Punk and Kofi. That said, we need to see some new champions so some life can be breathed back into the Tag Team Division. I have a feeling that there will be some interference, but it might cost the champs.

Winner and new Tag Champions: CM Punk and Kofi Kingston.

Intercontinental Championship Match (WWE Universe chooses Santino Marella's opponent) - Santino vs. Piper / Goldust / Honky Tonk Man

I think Piper will be voted here and Glamazon will interfere costing Piper the match. C'mon, the Honk-A-Meter just reached double digits. XD

Winner and still champion: Santino Marella

Cyber Sunday Preview Match (WWE Universe chooses United States Champion Shelton Benjamin's opponent) - Shelton vs. R-Truth / MVP / Festus

I don't follow SmackDown (though, I caught Undertaker vs. HHH match on Friday) so I'll make a guess that MVP will be chosen. That said, Benjamin will score a pinfall and retain his title.

Winner and still champion: Shelton Benjamin

ECW Championship Match (WWE Universe chooses Matt Hardy’s opponent) - Hardy vs. Henry / Bourne / Finlay

I don't follow ECW either, so this is just another guess. I think Finlay will be voted in, but Henry will be pissed that he didn't get voted so he'll come in and just destroy people.

Winner: Double DQ

Kane vs. Rey Mysterio (WWE Universe chooses type of match) - Falls Count Anywhere / No Holds Barred / Best 2-out-of-3 Falls Match

No Holds Barred will be voted here, so Mysterio can use some weapons to his advantage and take down Kane. This will be where Mysterio finally gets his revenge on the Big Red Machine.

Winner: Rey Mysterio

World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho vs. Batista (WWE Universe chooses referee) - Orton / HBK / Stone Cold

Though HBK is liked a lot, Stone Cold will be voted here. After a long battle, Jericho will somehow pull off the upset and get the win. However, he'll end up getting a Stunner because...what's a PPV with Stone Cold without a Stunner?

Winner and still champion: Chris Jericho

Undertaker vs. Big Show (WWE Universe chooses type of match) - Knockout Match / I Quit Match / Last Man Standing Match

Last Man Standing will be voted here so these two can pretty much tear each other apart. One of two things will happen:
1. Undertaker destroys Big Show
2. Big Show takes out Taker and Taker can't even get up on his own power, so the Creatures of the Night carry him out and he returns at another PPV.

I get the feeling that option #1 will happen here, though it'll take about 30 minutes before the Big Show stays down for the 10 count.

Winner: Undertaker

WWE Championship (WWE Universe chooses challenger) - HHH vs. Hardy / Kozlov / Triple Threat (Hardy and Kozlov)

Hardy will definitely be in, so it's down to either option 1 or 3. I figure the people will want to see option #3 so HHH and Hardy team up to take out Kozlov, then fight it out amongst themselves. HHH will retain after a Pedigree to Hardy or Kozlov.

Winner and still champion: HHH

Phew...there's my picks.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Spoiler:
I got 2 completely right and 3 partially right (wrong vote, right winner or vice versa). Honestly, I didn't do too bad but I was pretty surprised that everyone of the nominees from two of the matches got involved. I never would have guessed that the fans would vote Honky over Piper...I'm betting it's because of the Honk-o-Meter. XD

I think I might need to find the last three matches of the PPV because they look like they would be the best ones to watch that night, especially the Jericho vs. Batista.

Speaking of which, Raw will be interesting tomorrow night. Odds are Jericho will do one of his "Conspiracy" rants, JBL will talk about how he deserves a title shot, and HBK will jump into the mix. Since the next PPV is Survivor Series, I'm betting we could have either an elimination chamber match or another Adamle original. If there's a traditional 5v5 match with Batista as the champion involved, I'll be very surprised.

Spoiler:
I was shocked on Raw last night but after seeing it was being held in the UK, it made sense. Regal is the new IC champion...which means no more Honk-A-Meter, or even the Honk-A-Perfect-Mountie-Meter which was just introduced last night. XD

I'll agree with the first two, but I figure Punk and Kingston will get the wins. After that, Kingston will defeat Punk and go on to to defeat Regal for the IC Title.

Well even though Miz/Morrison won the titles, who exactly do they have to go against for the titles? I'll give these predictions a try too:

Diva's Match: The competitors will be stripped to their bra and panties and make out, resulting in a double DQ but everyone wins.
Winner: Double DQ

Batista Vs Randy Orton: Look for Batista to get the win here, paying him back for that loss at Survivor Series.
Winner: Batista

Finley Vs Henry: Henry gets the win here, but Finley lays a beat down on the man afterwards, with Hornswoggle delivering the Tadpole Splash in the end.
Winner: Henry

Matt Hardy Vs Kozlov: Hardy will win by DQ.
Winner: Hardy

Punk Vs Mysterio: Mysterio coming back and pinning the Miz after being injured, then pinning Kofi in the semifinals...yeah, Punk won't win this one.
Winner: Mysterio

Jericho Vs Cena, World Title: Cena is pissed about what Jericho said about the fans and the beat down he received from Jericho, Orton, Rhodes, and Mabu. Jericho might be forming a new faction that has long been needed to be seen on Raw. Cena will win, but get destroyed by the four mentioned above after the match.
Winner: Cena (dammit)

WWE title: Edge Vs Triple H Vs Jeff Hardy: Edge has the title back, and he's not going to be a transitional champion again. He'll retain here.
Winner: Edge

Again, mortis and some of the other guys here need to be given plane tickets, flown to WWE HQ, and get their asses hired as head WWE creative...NOW.

I think it was also discussed at one point that GFF should do their own brand of wrestling via the video games or something. Yeah, I think we were getting desperate.

By the way, WCW's PPV in May was called Slamboree and then there was Fall Brawl: War Games in September. Oddly enough, Fall Brawl once featured three teams (WCW, nWo, and Wolfpac) in a cage match for superiority, although I can't remember the specifics.

I had an idea for that three way match at Armageddon, although this would probably work better at Survivor Series. 5 people from WWE, 5 people from WCW, and 5 people from ECW compete in a Triple Threat Survival Elimination match. Basically, it's a traditional Survivor Series match but with three teams instead of two.

Also, props to mortis for wanting to make King of the Ring a PPV again. I definitely miss it, however I'd go back to the original format where you had 8 qualifying matches on the weekly shows and then those 8 go on to the actual King of the Ring tournament on the PPV. I remember they downgraded it to 4 people in the PPV tournament so you had only the semifinals and finals portion. I definitely love seeing one night tournaments in the WWE.

8 former champions in a tournament to determine who will face John Cena as the No. 1 contender at the Royal Rumble? Well, I have a prediction.

Prediction:
Finals: HBK vs. JBL, HBK lays down for JBL and JBL gets the win to go on to Royal Rumble as the No. 1 contender for the title.

Spoiler:
I actually think HBK will turn against JBL because HBK is like Sting..you can't turn him heel no matter how hard you try.
Spoiler:
I dunno Slash, I heard plenty of boos for HBK tonight. Also, I had no idea Batista was out...the fact that Trips is there gives hope that he would face Orton and go into the Four Way next week on Raw and maybe slap some sense into HBK.

Edit: Well...there went that idea.

Also...Reason why HBK is being booed.
As soon as I turned up the TV and heard Toronto, I pretty much delivered a facepalm and figured it out.

Spoiler:
What the hell, Orton advances by default? So now we have Orton, Jericho, JBL, and HBK in the final four? So much for my theory, I'm betting Orton will pick up the victory now.

Anybody want to guess how long it will be before Shawn Michaels turns on JBL? Here's what I think will happen:

JBL will win the title at the Royal Rumble. The Royal Rumble match commences, and guess who pulls a #30? HBK's music hits, he pulls a Cena and wins the Rumble making it the 3rd year in a row where #30 has won the Rumble.

I mean come on, they keep calling HBK "Mr. Wrestlemania" and hinting at how Wrestlemania really matters to him so there's no reason why he shouldn't headline Wrestlemania 25.

Whoa, and Val Venis is added to that list. He was one of those I thought would NEVER get cut from the WWE.
Wow, now that is bullshit. Val Venis had a good run when he was IC champ and then there was the saga with Kaientai and Taka. After that I think he went over to Right to Censor, but I can't remember anything about him after that. Poor guy, he deserved much better...at least another IC title run.

I've been trying to gather old Nitros and PPVs starting with mid-1996 because that's when I began to watch WCW (the only time before that was Bash at the Beach '94 where Hogan faced Flair for the title). I'm missing a few here and there and am currently at 1998. I share in the nostalgia with the old school wrestling.

Speaking of future HOFs, I'm in agreement for the ones mortis mentioned (especially Savage, I'm amazed he hasn't made it in there yet). I think one person I'd like to see get in there is the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase. He had his own title and held the tag titles with IRS on several occasions. Let's also not forget his infamous laugh.

Prediction time, eh? The Royal Rumble is definitely my favorite PPV event, with Wrestlemania coming in at 2nd. I'll give it a shot.

WWE Women's Championship Match
- Beth Phoenix (c) vs. Melina: From what I've seen, that fan of Beth's will interfere thus costing Beth the match, but not the title.
Winner: Melina, via DQ.

ECW Championship Match
- Jack Swagger (c) vs. Matt Hardy: I don't follow ECW, but I know that Swagger is still undefeated. I don't forsee him losing here.
Winner: Swagger

WWE Championship Match
- Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Edge: I just don't see Jeff losing it here since he hasn't held onto it long enough. Jeff will pull off the victory here, but then get brutally attacked afterwards.
Winner: Jeff by pinfall

World Heavyweight Championship Match
- John Cena (c) vs. JBL: There is no way Cena is coming out on top in this one. I feel that HBK will have little involvement in this match. The ref will get knocked out, HBK will Sweet Chin Music Cena, then try to revive the ref. By the time the ref gets up, JBL will deliver the Clothesline from Hell on Cena and pin him for the win and the title. This sets up my last pick.
Winner and new champion: JBL

30 Man Royal Rumble Match
Winner earns a World Title shot at WrestleMania 25
Seven surprise entrants, so we could be expecting some hall of famers making appearances in the Royal Rumble. You could see people like Goldust knocking Cody Rhodes out of the Rumble. Cena will enter the Rumble at #29 and the crowd will go crazy. As the timer counts down to #30, you'll hear HBK's music hit. HBK has entered the Rumble in one of two scenarios: 1. Without JBL knowing so he can main event Mania. 2. JBL ordered him to enter the Rumble so Cena doesn't have another shot at him at Mania (but he might at No Way Out).
It will come down to HBK and Cena, and HBK will eliminate Cena making it the third year in a row for #30 to win the Rumble and HBK will go on to Mania.
Winner: HBK.

Taker should retire with his Wrestlemania streak intact. There are just some things that are better left alone.

dag, I seriously hope that rumor is false. Even if he is the son of the Million Dollar Man, he doesn't deserve to be the one to end Taker's streak. Nobody deserves it, not Flair, Hogan, Rock, Austin, no one. Kane might be the only one I'd consider since he's lost twice to him at Wrestlemania and the third time would be the charm (it happened with Rock and Austin before).

Kane and HBK deserve one more title run, but Kane needs a much longer one. He was only champion for a day before Austin took it back the following night, right?

Problem is if HBK loses at No Way Out, the stipulation is that he will remain JBL's employee for the rest of his career. I just can't see HBK losing that one. Actually it's more like I don't want to see HBK lose that one.

As for Jericho, for Wrestlemania I think it's hyping up to be between Jericho and Flair.

Prediction time? I'm in.

Jack Swagger Vs Finley - Going with mortis on this one.
Winner: Jack Swagger

Orton Vs Shane McMahon - I'll take a chance here. Look for Cryme Time to interfere and take out Dibiase and Rhodes. That sets Shane up for the coast to coast dropkick into the trash can into Orton's face. Orton loses, but the next night on Raw he comes out and isn't worried. He's concentrating on his main event at Mania.

Then Shane comes back out and says "Oh by the way. In the contract it stated that if you lost, Orton, you would also lose your main event chance at Wrestlemania as well."
Winner: Shane McMahon

JBL Vs HBK - I'm sorry people, I've had enough of this. HBK is one of my favorite wrestlers and I feel he should get out of this deal with JBL, go on to win a match in which he'll headline Mania 25 and get a long deserved title reign once more.
Winner: HBK

John Cena Vs Koji Vs Kane Vs Chris Jericho Vs Rey Mysterio Vs Knox - Going with mortis again at the beginning, but with a twist at the end. It'll come down to Jericho and Cena, where after Kane is eliminated by Cena, Jericho will sneak up from behind with a weapon (chair, bell, something) and nail Cena in the back of the head with it, then pull a Codebreaker on the stunned Cena. Jericho becomes the new champ.
Order of eliminatino:
Knox by Rey, Rey by Kane, Koji by Kane, Kane by Cena, Cena by Jericho
Winner: Chris Jericho

Edge Vs Jeff Hardy Vs Triple H Vs the Undertaker Vs Big Show Vs Koslov - Seeing as how I don't follow Smackdown, this is going to be another complete guess. First of all, I don't think Hardy will grab it here because he'll end up facing Matt Hardy either one-on-one at Mania or in Money in the Bank. Kozlov won't get it here either and I don't see Taker going in as champion at Mania. That said, I think I'd like to see Big Show end up as champion.
Order of elimination: Kozlov by Triple H, Hardy by Big Show, Triple H by Edge, Edge by Undertaker, Undertaker by Big Show.
Winner: Big Show

Yeah, there's no logic to these predictions at all. XD
