I'm a bit confused. Are you complaining about Jedi Knight II or Dark Forces II? Dark Forces II - Jedi Knight is still pretty good, while I can understand the dislike for Jedi Knight II, as a terrible game it was indeed. Jedi Academy was kinda fun in multiplayer but that was about it.
To clarify for anyone who doesn't know: Dark Forces -> Dark Forces II - Jedi Knight -> Jedi Knight II (the Quake 3 engine one) -> Jedi Academy Most amazing jew boots ![]()

Yeah, I strangely remember quite a few magazines praising it, when it was even by regular FPS standards pretty crappy. Not even the dismemberment mod made it fun enough. And don't get me started on those platforming sections.
It is my theory that more crap FPS games were created on the Quake 3 engine than on the Quake 2 engine. Incidentally, Edge gave Jedi Knight II a 6/10 if I remember correctly, much to everyone's apparent surprise. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
