Probably because I didn't really feel like carrying them around with me for the next 70 years before they begin to pay off.
Besides, maybe I'm just BLIND with youth or something but weren't newspapers far less prevalent back in 1941? Now everyone and their dead grandfather gets the New York Times, LA Times and hack local newspaper.
Yeah yeah I know, internet and TV news replace the printed word but I'm still not convinced that the literacy rate were what it is now, nor the technological ability to hack down entire rainforest to print those Macy's ads everyone throws out.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
