Yeah, everybody's got one; you reset to one whenever you sleep and you get an added one for every two encounters (usually fights) you complete without sleeping.

Assuming I understand your question properly: Technically the rules say a large creature can't be forced into a small space, but that's a dumb rule and we'll ignore it if comes up since squeezing huge things into tiny crevices is just good clean fun all round.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well I was basically asking if from where we're all standing at present, using one of my moves that pushes an opponent would result in Slim getting squashed
Yes, this.

But Slim would get an attack of opportunity out of the deal, so it's not all bad...

Deni I know I said I was waiving the special weapons rules for small characters, but a repeater crossbow is two-handed even if you're Medium-sized.

So kindly refrain from firing it one-handed in future unless you want to take a bitch of an accuracy penalty on it.

Additional Spam:
Also, Cette, you took Feral Might instead of Rune Master as your Hybrid Talent so you don't actually get the Destruction/Protection benefits at all.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Seein' as you've never actually hit anything with the repeater, I don't see the harm.

I should remind you, however, that your Dragon FP is not a shotgun and if you want one of those you'll have to pay for it.

Okay, the wording is a little fuzzy but when I look at it in the PHB3 I think you're right Cette. 8 more damage to the Gargoyle, then.

Pang would a Bull rush off the side do it or do we have to make him prone. If so could a grapple check do it?
Hey Pang, if I were to push the gargoyle over the pit without it being prone, would it fall or just hover?
Why would it need to be prone to fall in a pit? Why would it hover? It's made of stone, it doesn't defy gravity. It just has excellent jump distance.

Pang, in light of us not realising the thing wasn't flying, am I allowed to delete my post and re-post something else?
I've got no problem with people editing their posts all they want prior to me posting an update but I'm kind of sketchy about posts being deleted and remade because it's far too easy to cheat on the dice that way (as Acer has ably demonstrated in the past).

Still in this case since you guys apparently all leapt to the GARGOYLE = WINGS conclusion at once and it's not like this thing is actually putting up a real fight you might as well go ahead.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah, something like that just falls under the stunting guidelines so there's really no set roll to be made on it. Worked out all right I think.

Online-only switch for the Builder is announced for the 16th of this month; the bawwwwwww is HILARIOUS.

I understand why people pirate things, Cette. I just don't think "how dare you make your product harder to pirate" is a tenable position for critics to hold. I am firmly ensconced within the warm, protective walls of Fort Paying Customer, and as such this transition represents a pure net gain for me (and, depending on the policy regarding multiple simultaneous logins, a possible net gain for all of us as a player group).

Not that any of these clowns are actually admitting to piracy, it's all a lot of laughably-transparent stories about well geez I just happen to game at places that attract many nerds but offer no internet access!

Also: "I leave the CB open the entire time I'm playing and use it as a character sheet, because I'm dongs-in-the-ears retarded."

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Honestly Skills we could all be sharing my account now and just using iplay4E but for various reasons I am sort of hesitant to just throw my account into the hands of a dozen near-strangers. If the new CB does turn out to be easily-sharable it might be worthwhile to take up a collection for a new shared GFF account but we'll see how that hashes out.

As for updates, I wouldn't hold my breath. Sure, now they can push updates out to everyone at the flick of a switch now. But will they do so?
The issue wasn't really how fast they could add things, it was whether they could add them at all. The CB software is a huge kludgy mess where adding one thing broke three other things, and evidently trying to add something as major as the Dark Sun themes makes the whole thing fall apart like a game of Jenga on a faultline.

So at the very least things will make more SENSE, going forward, no more "+2, -1" for a shield bonus just to cover up something else. Bugs can actually get fixed instead of having a sheet thrown over them.

At the very least updates will be faster than they've been lately, though that isn't saying much.

If Dragon doesn't get its head out of its ass and start publishing some crunch though I swear to Christ

'round 20 feet wide. Shoulder-to-shoulder you'd get, say, 4 xivorts at a time.

Of course, imps are Tiny-sized so all bets are off there

If only you had some kind of expendable resource which, in essence, would allow you to vanquish your enemies without having to individually hack them apart one-by-one.

If Cette pulls this off, I hope he gets a card for bravery, or stupidity, or whatever this happens to be.

Because epic.
Well, all right.

Well, it's definitely possible; maybe "row" was the wrong word to use since people often seem to assume it means literal left-to-right straight lines.

Well, it depends on what you mean by "things that should be there". Functions like export were known to be absent in the initial release.

Crashes? Well, uh, it just locked up when I tried to import Samwise. Hrm. Oh, it tried to auto-recover Sam when I re-launched. So that's nice. Still locks up trying to import him, though; everyone else imported without trouble. Probably his houseruled gun causing the issue.

2 characters only is definitely not the case, I'm not going to sit here importing guys all night but from what I've heard the current cap is supposed to be 20.

Slow? Maybe. It's a little sluggish for me, but then again Verizon throttled my connection a week ago and I've been wrestling with them about it since so my speeds are spotty at the best of times anyway. Plus the site is probably getting hammered right now compared to how busy it'll be under a normal load. Who knows.

Actually, yeah. Beefi's got a very high Athletics and he only needs to clear 3 squares to reach the hatch, so an 18 or better would get him there.

It's not great odds but it's conceivable.

Yeah, the platforms aren't quite 5 feet wide so you'd be hard pressed to fit more than one person on there without a great deal of awkwardness (Uxig and Sam could share one, I suppose). So standard rules apply; you can move THROUGH a friendly-occupied space, but not STAY there.

They're like 3 feet around, give or take. A medium-sized character can get through if they squeeze.

Not to say that you can't go ahead and grease Beefi up anyway, you never know.

So anyway it's a bit more important now to explain how squeezing works since presumably you guys might want to get down that tunnel quick-like so here's a quick RULES CORNER

Quote:
SQUEEZE: MOVE ACTION

Half Speed: As part of the same move action, move up to half your speed.

–5 Penalty to Attack Rolls: You have a –5 penalty to attack rolls until you return to your normal space.

Grant Combat Advantage: You grant combat advantage to all enemies until you return to your normal space.

Provoke Opportunity Attacks: If squeezing causes any part of your space to leave a square adjacent to an enemy, that enemy can make an opportunity attack against you.

Ending a Squeeze: You can end a squeeze as a free action. You return to your normal space.

Right, added.

I take it you can't run when squeezing then? Can you still substitute a standard for a move (Thereby allowing Beefi to go 6 squares per round down the tunnel).
Yeah, no running but a double-shimmy is on the table.

Well, you were bitten by 5 separate snakes, so it depends on which one you were trying to block. It would defend from the bite from D Red, but that's about it.
