So I started playing Ninja Gaiden Black today..

Same here, own the original NG and the game is tough (way beyond tough actually) but the more you play it, the more you learn from your mistakes. In other words, skill ultimately pays off big time in Ninja Gaiden. And I never had any frustration due to poor camera or controls. In fact the only times I was frustrated in NG was because of my own incompetence. Harhar!!

I own DMC3 and while it's a superb actioner I'd still pick NG as the more polished game because of its fluent controls and immensely satisfying combat. Though Dante can be a whole lot of fun too.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I find Ninja Gaiden one of the toughest games I played in my life and never ever did I find fault with the camera. It was more my own incompetence that I blamed when I first played it. Ninja Gaiden is a unique game in that it trains you as you progress through the game. The more you play it, the better you get at it. So when you finally get through a hard part: instant satisfaction!

EDIT: Oops looks like I repeated a post here. Still that's how I feel about the game. Utterly fantastic.
