Breaking news, consumers are big fans of Data Design Interactive's reheated diarrhea!

Out of garbage bags.

The world of PAL budget gaming steps it up another notch! ... By porting over their three year old PlayStation 2 games to Wii! I'm both amused and horrified! Data Design rivals Phoenix Games with quality, but as an exclusive feature to enrage the consumer even further, many of these games are clones. Like Action Girlz Racing is the exact same thing as Super Kart GP, just different characters. Hamster Heroes? It's also Orbs of Doom! OOOORBS OF DOOOOM!

Billy the Wizard is a new one! Oh wait no, it's just

They got in deep shit for this game when they announced it years ago. I wonder why.
I've only had the pure delight of playing one of these games before, London Taxi Rushour. Only one h, it's all we neeeeed. It's a Crazy Taxi rip off that lets you drive through walls that aren't supposed to be driven through. Really great game, made me very emotional. It also had a camera angle that put you behind the steering wheel, which turned in the wrong direction all the time. Attention to detail!

"Hey guys what's goin' on who wants to come for a ride in my taxi we'll have fun seriously wow why are there crates everywhere?"

Here's the publishers site, where you can view eye popping screenshots if you dare. I'm looking forward to see what magic they can do with the Wii controller here. These will be the greatest games on the system forever, discuss!

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah pretty much.

I can't even understand what's happening in these screens, does the little snowman boy wish he could escape the Nintendo 64 texture land or something? "OH HOW I WISH I WAS DEAD..."

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Ahahaha ='D

More EXCITING information has been revealed!

Quote:
Stewart Green, the MD of Data Design Interactive, said, "We have been developers for the past 24 years and we have seen many new consoles but the Nintendo Wii controller is exciting. Rather than just offering faster graphics and more memory this is the first real innovation in hardware, and because of the ease of use and dynamic control we can see both new games and new players being brought into the games market.

"Our Mythmakers range of titles have sold over half a million units and with their family friendly and cartoon style they are ideally suited to this Nintendo market, but we are not playing safe. Of the 12 titles we have planned for release we also have the 18 rated Earache Extreme Metal Racing. A Death metal music game, which will open up the Wii to a whole new market."
HALF A MILLION COPIES HOLY HELL the video game consumers are very wise today, yes yes. And I like that their idea of getting excited over the controller is to port PS2 games. That is exciting! Also WOW Earache Extreme Metal Racing, what an inviting name! That will be GOTY! EXCITING!

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Yeah totally, that London Rushour song belongs on the radio! A constant loop! On every station (only to be stopped at midnight to make way for Billy the Wizard's groovy tune)! =o

I was speaking idiomatically.

I know! There'd be at least ten people aware of these games thanks to this thread, that's an increase by at least 40,000%.

OH MY GOD YOU GUYS WOW (SHOCK FUCK!) VICTORY SUCCESS!

Quote:
Popcorn Arcade label has a sellout first week and receives trade praise…
Data Design Interactive the video games developer and recently turned publisher, are pleased to announce their first four titles ‘Ninjabread Man, Anubis II, Billy Wizard and Rock n Roll Adventure’ were released to a receptive trade last Friday, with 2 of the titles already sold out within 3 days of release.

This is a great boost for the company since they have invested in developing a dedicated studio to keep up with demand; the company intends to release 14 Nintendo Wii titles on their Popcorn arcade label before Christmas.

On the Monday I tried to order some promotional units and was amazed to find that Koch were already out of stock, we knew there was a market for family friendly titles that weren’t overly complicated, so kids can pick up and start having fun within minutes. At an affordable price we expected a sellout at Christmas for stocking fillers, but having to reorder double the quantities in the first week is beyond our expectations. The Wii is going to be a big success at Christmas, and for us, Christmas is coming early! My bowels are churning!

Alison Fraser, Product Manager Gamestation, said;

It’s great to see the release of a budget range on the Wii console which is attracting the more casual gamer. Popcorn Arcade games are fun titles which will benefit from the growth of the Nintendo Wii Market.

internet.
"Popcorn Arcade games are fun titles" =D

Stunning!

Erotic!

I hope Phoenix Games jump on board now. If Data Design's two year old PAL PS2 ports can score an American publisher and the blessing of Nintendo's new 'don't give a shit what you do' attitude, IT COULD BECOME REALITY. AMERICA MUST TASTE THE TALENT.

This is true innovation. Discuss!?
