I aggree with The Wise Vivi, however Vectors arn't exactly Photoshops strong point at least compared to something like Illustrator,

One of my first vector tracings about a year ago now although I spent a lot of time experimenting with the tool first, I traced the outline in Illustrator then coloured in pixels with Photoshop


The way Adobe added the feature to Photoshop it seems like it was more of an afterthought feature so everyone didn't have to get a vector based program to go with it. Nonetheless programs are kind of like builder tools we have our own preferences and I admit I've also been meaning to master vectors made in Photoshop when I get the time, so I'll share one of the best tutorials I could find to help out
