I can't say I've had enough experience with ossuaries to have a preference in their form. I do think some mausoleums are quite fascinating however, on an aesthetic level. A lot of care goes into their creation. That sort of dedicated masonry is growing increasingly rare.
But they certainly don't creep me out at all. I actually find cemetaries to be rather tranquil and pleasant. It may be a bit more shocking to find someone's bones being kept anyplace else, but I doubt it would bother me much. It's not like they're a threat to anything. Most amazing jew boots ![]() |
