It will switch users, or if switch users is disabled, lock your session. You can turn it off by either using no screensaver and just have Windows turn off your display automatically, or if you want a screensaver, uncheck "On resume, display Welcome screen" next to where you set how long Windows takes to activate the screensaver.

How do you get the PC to shut off the display automatically, rather than using a screensaver. I had it setup on my old PC, but can't recall how I did it...
Jam it back in, in the dark.
