Ah, yes, the joys of McDonald's.....
I once worked there and had this drummed into me:
"If YOU wouldn't eat it, then don't serve it." I also had THIS drummed into me:
"Only managers can determine if food should be thrown out."
So, who is at fault?
The manager. Once salt is added to the meat, it is grabbed by the grease in the patty. There's no "thumping" the salt off the burger itself. That meat should NEVER have been served, and the employee should never have gotten into trouble.
This isn't McDonald's logic. This is common sense.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
