Actually, your system may actually be able to play Civilization IV, my old computer had lower specs than yours and I was able to play Civ IV. Its a more involving game than the older ones.

Just shrink the map a bit, and a few less players. That's how I played, even with medium graphics on. Shouldn't be too much of a problem.
And I never really liked Civ II... it is definitely my least favorite...  Sorry.There's nowhere I can't reach. |
