I want to upgrade - what should I get?
I'm planning on upgrading to a new PC for Vista and direct x 10 etc. but right now I've no idea whatsoever on what I should get.
Can anyone reccommend a good spec I should try and put together? I assume one of those core processors? I don't have an idea on which one of those is the best, or what speed of ram is the fastest or which motherboard is the best and argh! This is my current spec I've had since 2002 with a few upgraded parts: P4 3ghz hyperthreading "northwood" (or something..) 1gb ram 2600 or 2800 I believe Audigy asus x800pro VIVO 256mb agp 1x120gb drive, 1x250gb drive Intel GERG2 motherboard Jam it back in, in the dark. |
