Apparantly the shooter frequented vampirefreaks.com, and his profile there showed pictures of him holding automatic rifles, along with lots of self-promotion as some Angle of Death....

Just found out about it a few minutes ago as I'm kinda out of the country... I agree the with the sentiment that Montreal has always been a relatively peaceful and nonviolent city in Canada.
