Well, thanks to Nintendo's site screwing up I have to wait until tomorrow night to do this now. The whole thing went crazy and started giving 404 errors when I got to the checkout screen, and when I tried again it told me I'd exceeded the number of jackets per serial number and to try again in 24 hours if that was an error. Looks like the same problem as Chaotic. If it doesn't fix itself tomorrow night I'll call the 800 number on Thursday.
I'm not sure if I'll even use these things, but they're free. Why not? Jam it back in, in the dark.  |

Anyway, I had to try this twice to get it to work today. The first time I tried ordering I got that 404 crap again, but it let me try again immediately and it went through. Must be the high volume of people trying to order these. There's nowhere I can't reach. |

Has anyone else gotten their wiimote jackets yet? Mine arrived today, and it's a little better than I expected. I'm still not sure if I'll use them though. Seems like they'll make changing the batteries a pain in the ass, and I doubt they'll allow the wiimote to fit into the Wii Zapper.
Still, nifty considering they were free. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

You probably won't get any sort of notification when they ship. The only email I got from Nintendo about them was back on October 4th, saying my order was being processed and there would be a delay in shipping due to a high volume of orders.

Haha, I just got an email from Nintendo saying my Wiimote jackets have shipped and should be here within 5-10 days. They're only a little bit late telling me this.
