The tiny Fine Arts theater here finally started showing this, so I'm hoping to go catch it this weekend. I heard about Little Miss Sunshine a few weeks ago when I saw Strangers With Candy, and it looked great from the first preview.
The title has already gotten me in trouble once though. I mentioned to a friend that I was thinking of seeing it this weekend, and he thought I was sarcastically calling a friend of ours Little Miss Sunshine because she's in the hospital and obviously not in the best moods. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |

I just got back from seeing this and I loved it. The tiny arts theater that was showing it must have been pretty happy too; it was a sold out show. I showed up half an hour early to find a 20 minute ticket line, and it kept piling up even farther behind me. Unfortunately, I ended up sitting next to three old ladies who never shut up (although they got quiet once the actual movie started) and one of them kept laughing at the most inappropriate times possible. Still, an excellent film.
