My experience with trying to find a copy for my cousin suggests it is Professor Layton and the Curious Village which is the most hot item for the NDS this Christmas season. Eventually I did manage to find one that wasn't at an inflated price, but for a while there Amazon were selling copies at 99 quid!

I... really hope you already have a DS so you know that the highlights are far better than the rubbish you're talking about in this post. There's a lot of quality stuff on the DS, although of an entirely different kind than you might find on any of the home consoles.

Well... yeah. If you put it like that, it's hard to argue. I walk into any one of a half-dozen retail stores, and most of what I see for DS are games in the "Training" and "Imagine" series, plus a few other rubbish tie-in games. It can be really annoying to have to dig through the heaps of junk to get to the real games.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
