It's not that it is any more immune than Windows, per say. It's just that the Mac userbase is so much smaller than Windows that the biggest viruses aren't going to be written for Mac OS or Mac programs.
I've always been a Windows user and I just recommended someone to get a MacBook. He didn't use gaming at all, mostly it was for downloading music, talking to friends, and processing photos off his digital camera. We didn't even go with the Pro, just a standard MacBook. For anyone not gaming, Apple is certainly becoming an incredibly attractive way to go...I'd probably get one if I didn't need Windows for programming, but being able to put Windows on Apples now...I might switch in the future. How much HD space do you need on a Mac to comfortably have both Mac OS and Windows on it? I assume I can look it up but EXPERT HERE.
There's nowhere I can't reach.
