I always thought "Wedge" was kind of a strange name in the FF universe. Why would you name someone after the shape of a tool used to prop a door open?
Dragon Quest 8's thief-turned-Hero-worshipper Yangus has a pretty strange name too, especially in comparison to his comrades Jessica and Angelo. But I guess it works out in the end because...he's getting his own game, and they're not. Jam it back in, in the dark. Hence why I said "FF universe." I've got no idea about a Wedge or Biggs in Star Wars, as I'm not a fan of Star Wars in the least.

Moving a little ways out of RPGs (but not too far) Advent Children had some out of place names with Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo. It's kinda like playing the "Which Words Don't Fit" game -- Cloud, Zack, Yazoo. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. Now that I think about, Chrono Trigger's "Marle" is a strange name for a girl to have. It sounds like a cross between Carl and Mary. Granted, "Marle" is just her pseudoname, but still. Think of something better!
