I forgot to ask - what's with the sudden explosion of AC Zero avatars and sigs? Did I miss some kind of Ace Combat week event?

Before the downtime, I believe there was quite a lot of opposition to it.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
