The Warhamer 40k game with its expansion come close to what you're looking for.
Fast-paced RTS with some hero units. Each Hero unit have hteir own power to oblsert the morale of their troops (rather important when it comes to 40k games) and of course AOE-style moves. Gameplay is pretty tight  Jam it back in, in the dark. |
