Couldn't we turn off the redirecting url?

Is this possible? Sometimes I want to save a link toward my download manager but they become invalid because it becomes like this: http%3A%2F%2Fasdf.com/%2fasdf.rar.

It's not really a big problem, but it would be nice if it could be turned off somehow. Thanks in advance
